Class Five looks for ways to give back to the communities we live and work in - so, when the Regina-based Saskatchewan Ministry of Health approached us to participate in their United Way fundraiser, we were on board…
Below, Justin and I show off the Electro Lab 151 and Gold Foil shirt Class Five that were auctioned off by Sask Health, with proceeds going to the United Way. Everyone here at Class Five is stoked to support good causes like the United Way.
Class Five is proud to be a sponsor of the snowboard film “Anytime.” Produced and edited by Class Five team rider, Kurtis Rothecker, the video can now be purchased online at Xtreme-Adrenaline.com. The direct link to purchase the video is HERE.
For those of you that haven’t seen Anytime, here is the teaser to get you stoked.
Our good friend Russ Davies, head coach of the SSA (Saskatchewan Snowboard Association), was kind enough to snap some photos from the Three-O-Six Throwdown in North Battleford last weekend. Looks like the event was a blast. Props to everyone at Freedom for putting together a great season opener event.

Keeping snowboarding true to its roots means “doing it just for fun.” Me and a few bros did exactly that when we saw the foot and a half of fresh we received a few days ago. We put the Electro Lab to the test: being dragged behind a pickup truck on a dirty gravel road in Sask.

It is Thanksgiving Day here in Canada and for some of us in the country we were able to say thanks for the snow. Here in Saskatchewan we were given our first snowfall of the season that totaled about 15-20 cm. It is pretty early in the year for a snowfall like that… something tells me it is going to be a good season.
If you are in the North Battleford area this weekend you have to check out the Three-0-Six Throwdown at Freedom Snow and Skate. The Throwdown has been Freedom’s official launch to the season for 4 years running. Check the poster below to see the set up from previous years. Should be a great event.
Book the date! Class Five is proud to sponsor the premier for “Anytime”. Class Five team Rider Kurtis Rothecker has been working hard all season on this video. I saw a sneak peak and it is going to be 100% worth checking out.
Here are the details: 8pm, Oct. 17th at the U of R Riddell Center. $5 at the door!
Here is the poster and the teaser. Hope to see everyone there.
